Shandong Engineering Machinery Co. Ltd is a Chinese wheel loader manufacturer which became a subsidiary of Caterpillar in 20008. Since 2014, it has been part of Caterpillar (Qingzhou) Ltd. Exists as a separate brand SEM, which has its own dealerships, sales channels and a separate marketing strategy.

Under the SEM Brand, wheel loaders, packers, motor graders and crawler tractors are manufactured for sale in China and other markets.

In China, SEM machines are sold through a network of more than 70 SEM dealers owned and operated by local entrepreneurs. In markets outside China, products are sold exclusively through Caterpillar dealerships with dedicated SEM channels covering more than 90 countries. Key export markets for SEM machines include Asia Pacific, Latin America, CIS, Africa and the Middle East.
